This home’s original cedar siding was splitting, warping, and cracking. It was nice for a refresh on the front side that had taken the brunt of the summer sun for 1 summer too many. We removed the old siding, added new plywood sheathing, installed a vapor barrier, and then installed new cedar lap patterned on a slant. This cedar was painted so it was primed after installed. Staining is an option for cedar as well. Has a woodpecker damaged your cedar siding? Give us a call today for some repair options.
